How does it work?

Almost all online scrap collection services merely offer you a 'FREE service' which means your car is collected for free but you will not recieve any cash payment for your vehicle what so ever.

Carcycle likes to be different; We offer our customers a £50 guaranteed cash payment for their vehicles and FREE local collection!

How can we do this you ask? Even if your car is a complete and utter wreck it still contains valuable materials that can be extracted and recycled. We extact many of these materials which in-turn can be sold to specialist recycling companies.

When you submit your vehicle and contact details to carcycle.co.uk this vehicle information is forwarded to one of our carefully selected authorised agents who will shortly contact you to arrange a convenient collection date and time.

Once a collection time has been arranged our agent will attend your address to collect your vehicle in a safe and professional manner. You will be asked to sign a collection receipt and a copy will be given for your records.

Your vehicle will then be transported to the agents local depot for processing which includes removal of combustable fluids and objects including the battery along with alloy metals and the catalytic coverter for specialised recycling.

After the vehiicle has been processed it will be transported again to an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) where the final End of Life Vehicle (ELV) processing take place. This final stage allows for the extraction of the scrap steel (for recycling) and the safe disposal of any plastics or other chemicals.
