Q. Can I keep an un-insured vehicle?

The simple answer is YES! But the new laws introduced recently (June 2011) can make it sound rather unclear!

In simple terms if you wish to keep your vehicle while it has no insurance you  must ensure the following:

• The vehicle is kept off the public highway.
• You have declared the vehicle as offroad by filling out a V890 SORN request form.
