Carcycle offers a range of services focused primarily on the transport and disposal of motor vehicles.
Scrap Vehicle Recycling
This is our primary business; we are usually able to offer our customers the best prices for their scrap vehicles.
All vehicles that are to be recycled are processed through authorised EU ELV (End of Life Vehicle) centre's. This ensures that minimum levels of harmful chemicals and/or materials are released into the environment.
Recycled car parts
Many of the parts on your vehicle can-not be simply melted down and recycled as they contain plastics and heavy metals but in most cases many of these parts are still serviceable.
When our agents prepare vehicles for ELV (End of Life Vehicle) processing: where it is safe and economically viable to do so they will attempt to recover as many parts as possible so that they can re-conditioned, tested and re-used and quite possibly extend the life of another vehicle because of course the ultimate and most efficient form of recycling is re-use!
For example: a car’s head-lights contain various types and grades of plastic, metal and glass which makes them very tricky to recycle (in a material sense) BUT if they are un-damaged and in good working order after an inspection, clean and full electrical test they are ready to be used again.
